Today, we met someone really important! Although he seemed like a just another individual, we soon found out otherwise. This 18 year old boy was inline to be the next King of Buganda; his name was Mpaga Joseph. Oh...and yes I meant to write Buganda, with a "B"! Buganda is the central region of Uganda, otherwise known as the Kingdom of Buganda! He was actually really funny! We enjoyed him as he walked us throught the history of his Kingdom and also the making of the Kasubi Tomb, or the Kings Palace. Today it is known as the LARGEST HUT in
all of the WORLD!!!
In this hut, the tombs of four past kings are buried. Prior to entering we had to take off our shoes. It was really interesting to us that the people of this particular kingdom believed that if a person were to look behind the vail which covered the Kings tombs they would disapear. *So Leah decided to look and well that is why I am writing this blog and she is not! Sorry! Just kiddin'! Actually she is sitting right beside me begging me to add my a sympathetic love ending to that story!* The true story is that neither of us were able to look behind the vail, but the people still believe that a man would really dissapear after looking behind it!!! Changing subjects now, here is a picture of a real
African Scavengers 'vultures'! Pretty good picture, huh?! That is straight from my (Jordon) new camera! I'm real excited about using this one on the safari! Although, we were told that there are no giraffes, zebra, or even Rhino's when we go on our safari!!! I know 'what a bummer!' ,BUT there will be elephants, lions, warthogs and hippos! So we will be quite enthrawled with what we see! Today, we also went to the U.S. Embassy and learned a whole lot more about the Kenya situation and more about Uganda! And just so you all know, We are pretty safe, so NO WORRIES! That is really all for today! Thanks you for all of your comments and prayers! It is really cool to see God work here in Africa! Can't wait to tell you all more!

Hey... this blog cracked me up... you used the funniest choice of words... enthrawled. hehe. I miss you guys and I'm so glad you're having the time of your lives.
Hey guys, I'm glad to hear you're having a great time in Africa. Reading about the warthogs and hippos reminded me of a book I read to the kids in the daycare yesterday. lol I already miss having you guys in class.
Jordon and Leah . . it looks like you have settled in and are getting established. Don't forget that everything in life-worth doing now and remembering in the years to come-is going to require risk. I have never considered either of you to be fearful, and I know you have both risked much in pursuing this opportunity . . live in your opportunity! God has blessed you both with daring hearts and I am so excited that you are both risk-takers. Don't live life on the fence . . after a few deep breaths, take a step . . and watch the Lord take the best you can do for Him and turn it into so much more than you could ever imagine! Jordon and Leah, I love you both and I am praying for you and the days ahead of you. See the Lord and rejoice.

Hey guys!! It was great being able to talk to both of you... it was really great to hear your voices. It's crazy when you look back now and see all God did to get you two there. You can see you are exactly where he wants you to be.
I hope you two are doing well. Take it all in over there, as much as you can. You can digest it all when you get back. God definatly has you over there for a reason do keep your eyes and heart open, or maybe better yet close your eyes and let him guide you.
I'm keeping everyone up to date, lol, they are probably getting tired of hearing about Jordon and Leah. No their not. I hope I talk to you soon. Love ya both lots!
